Empowered Wellness Coaching Programs and Services
All of my programs and services have been developed utilizing a mind, body, brain, and spirit perspective. The programs have been crafted to meet the specific needs of women who suffer from chronic stress due to a life-changing medical diagnosis or trauma. The content of the programs is updated regularly as the Integrative Mental Health field is an emerging field of integrative medicine including advanced research studies showing the effectiveness of many mind-body wellness strategies.
My method offers a way for you to dive deep to the base of your personal iceberg, to get to the root of your struggles, supporting you once and for all to release whatever has been holding you back. Many clients I have worked with struggled with intensely negative self-beliefs, such as “I am broken,” and have learned effective ways to heal these deep inner wounds empowering them to move along their health journey from surviving to thriving, letting go of what no longer served them.
I help women and men like you, who are ready to commit to creating a daily self-care plan that supports you to feel healthier emotionally and physically for the long-term, unlike quick fixes or life hack approaches, because your health and mental wellbeing are worth investing the time and effort that are required to create lasting change. A personalized self-care plan crafted to nurture your mind, body, brain, and spirit can help you to find your rhythm. This specialized plan, sets the stage for optimal healing, while the 1:1 health coaching helps you recognize how your illness or trauma has served as a transition in your life. By reviewing the multiple aspects of wellness in your life, along with assessing your readiness to make changes in these important lifestyle areas, you will clear your path to increased vitality and improved wellness.
Through our work together, you will experience a “knowledge is power” perspective that takes what often appears as complicated information from psychology, neuroscience, evolutionary biology, and medicine, and cuts through the hype, making the content more user-friendly so that you can begin to implement the suggested lifestyle changes immediately.
Clients who took part in this approach have shared how they experienced more insight, an increased belief in their ability to heal from what ails them, and positive changes in their mindset in how they thought and in the way they felt each day. Individual, one-hour in length, 1:1 coaching (conducted in-person, by phone and/or video sessions)
What You Can Expect: These coaching sessions are designed to help women and men identify your current obstacles to improved health and wellness. In these sessions, you will increase your self-awareness and improve your relationship between your mind, body, brain, & spirit. You will learn effective mind-body tools to help you develop your goals and create a personalized daily self-care plan.
Integrative Mental Health & YOU: An Outline for Your Personalized Self-Care Plan
Is This Course for Me?
Anyone who is interested in learning about how this model of integrative health is different from traditional mental health and physical health perspective, but who are unsure if they are ready yet to commit to working directly with an Integrative Mental Health Specialist. This course is also a helpful resource for other mental health and medical practitioners who are seeking to increase their knowledge in how an integrative approach could benefit their client population.
What You Can Expect:
This 4-module, self-paced, course is designed as an introduction to this emerging field of Integrative Mental Health, including examples of how you might use the Integrative and Functional Medicine focus as it relates to your overall health and wellness. This course includes downable materials including an outline for creating your own personalized self-care plan.
Tailored Group Programs
Empowered Wellness Warrior Programs
The Empowered Wellness Warrior Programs are continuing to evolve and change, based on the current research in Integrative Mental Health, my own ongoing growth as a practitioner, and from feedback from members. Research continues to show that group involvement has significant benefits including coming together around a common purpose and feeling the support of others who are working on similar goals.
Based on my professional work with clients over the past 30 years, I recognize that not everyone is at the same place in their health and wellness journey. And more specifically, not everyone is familiar with the variety of ways on how to incorporate a whole-person approach into their own daily self-care practices. Based on this, the programs are designed to help you take an increasingly deeper dive to better understand yourself and help you identify how to create, and most importantly, maintain a daily practice that works for you. Regardless of the program you choose, each program utilizes a similar structure that consists of a combination of self-paced learning modules, 1:1 and small group coaching sessions, and access to private Face Book groups, all designed to support you wherever you are along your health journey.
All Empowered Wellness group programs are structured and time-limited to serve as the best resources for you along your healing journey.
Inner Healers: an 8-week, experiential program that helps adults who have experienced traumatic life events use mind-body medicine strategies to recognize and heal their shadow parts of self, to break free from imposter syndrome, and manifest their Authentic Self.
Stress Recovery & Resilience: a 10-week, experiential program that helps adults learn about their own stress reactions and the role that stress plays in overall health and disease, along with learning lifestyle strategies to manage stress, decrease depression / anxiety, and improve sleep.
Gut-Brain Health: Improving the Connection: a 12-week, experiential program that helps adults learn the importance of their gastrointestinal tract, and the connection between gut issues and mental health, along with learning lifestyle strategies to promote a healthy gut supporting your mood, immune, and cardiometabolic systems.
